I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my experience with Bridges Auto, I feel obligated to warn others. I brought my 2012 Cadillac CTS to Bridges Auto to have the A/C repaired. The repair required removing the dashboard to replace the expansion valve, and I understood that it was a labor-intensive job. Randy assured me it would take approximately 3 to 4 days, so I dropped my vehicle off on a Wednesday afternoon expecting to have it back by the following week. When I stopped by on Friday to check the progress, I discovered my car was still parked in the exact same spot where I had left it. After speaking with Randy, he explained they only had one technician capable of performing the work, and that technician works somewhere else at another job and comes in only on his own time. This was never disclosed before I left my vehicle. The following Tuesday, I was told the repair couldn't continue because they needed a special tool they didn't have and had to order it. By Friday, I was informed the tool had arrived, but the technician still hadn't come in to perform the work. At that point, I had already been without my car for over a week and had to rent a vehicle through my insura

I can’t recommend Bridges Auto Repair enough! They recently worked on my GMC Yukon and saved me a significant amount of money by replacing my oil cooler hose for nearly half of what GMC quoted me. Randy was outstanding from start to finish. He took the time to explain the entire process, kept me informed throughout the repair, and made sure I understood exactly what was being done. I’ve trusted Randy with my vehicles for over a decade, and he has always been honest, knowledgeable, and dependable.

I used used bridges, auto and electrical for many Years even prior to moving to Mayport Road I had no issues with the repairs they did on my vehicles over the years UntilCorey took over for his dad. In August 2025 I took my husbands 72 chevelle in for some work that was needed they have worked on this vehicle a few times over the years. Drop off day dealing with the guy behind the counter you know the one who has to be the loudest in the room no matter the ass he really is.. fast forward 8 weeks later I decided I was done and would go pickup the car and take it to a classic repair shop show up at 7am the car was in parts finally got it started asked for my invoices to see what they may have done so I could pay them, I was told don’t worry about it. I did give a 350.00 cash deposit. During the time the vehicle was in the shop Corey was never available only via cell phone. I would call and every time he would be on vacation somewhere and give me the runaround this was back in September 2025 fast forward to Friday, June 5 I called bridges to ask for information About a part that was under warranty I was told I could go to AutoZone at Mayport Road and just switch out the part. Great shops with awesome genuine employees!!! I felt like part of their team when I brought in work I needed done. Great team that lifts each other up and helps one another ensure things are being done RIGHT! Thank you guys for the GREAT help you provided.
